PDL is a non-profit organization established by music labels. There are no charges for PDL membership. PDL only charges for the nominal administrative cost.

PDL provides services for the below listed platforms: Streaming Platforms: Spotify, Facebook, Instagram, Apple Music, iTunes, Amazon, Gaana, JioSaavn, Hungama & many more. Caller Tunes (CRBT) Platforms: Bharti Airtel, Vodafone-Idea, BSNL, Jio. YouTube CMS: includes YouTube Content ID (Content Fingerprinting) and YouTube Music.

No, currently PDL is not serving any video platforms. We’ll notify if any video service is introduced in future.

Yes, PDL also provides service for broadcasting platforms but not serving for telecasting.

The content goes live on the platforms within 3–4 business days post ingestion. For any content promotion, we suggest ingesting the content 15 days prior to the date of release.

PDL’s content marketing team pitches the content to DSPs (Audio) for promotion on the respective platforms; however, promotion depends on editorial discretion.

PDL does not allow remixes, mashups, covers, or lo-fi content unless you are the owner or hold 100% rights to the content.

The sub-label/sub-distributor will operate under one of the existing PDL members and will have access to a dashboard for content ingestion. Only that PDL member will provide reports & royalty. If sub-label/sub-distributor has any concerns or queries, they will be resolved by its aggregator. There will be no direct agreement or relationship with PDL.
